AD &D insurance is a supplemental insurance program offered to the
Credit Union members through a direct mail solicitation. The members
receive a free benefit; either $1000 or $2000 free benefit under the program
just by being a member of the Credit Union. The members can purchase an
additional amount up to $250,000. The premiums are deducted from the
members account, quarterly, through an ACH transaction. The Credit Union
is paid an administrative reimbursement with the program. The Credit Union
is guaranteed a minimum annual income of .50 per member mailed.
